I use the arrow keys to adjust my view when I'm in the mood to redecorate. Just press and hold to shift the angle!

I always use the combination of holding the right mouse button and moving the mouse to rotate the camera. Works like a charm every time!

You can't rotate the camera in Sims FreePlay on a laptop. It's designed for touchscreens.
