To run a Steam game as admin on Windows 11, you gotta go the extra mile but not too far! First, close Steam. Then find the game's exe file in wherever Steam installed it (usually under 'Steam/steamapps/common/'). Right-click the .exe, go to Properties > Compatibility tab, and check 'Run this program as an administrator.' Apply, OK, and launch the game directly from this .exe or start Steam and play as usual. Steam might not need admin rights, but your game will get them every time.

Shortcut method: Right-click Steam shortcut > Properties > Advanced > Run as administrator. Launch Steam, and all games should run with admin rights. Be cautious, as this method gives admin rights to all games, which might not always be needed or safe.

Nah, just set Steam to always run as admin. Less hassle, works every time!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
