Head to the save game folder on your PC, usually located in 'Documents/My Games/XCOM2/XComGame/SaveData,' and delete them manually. Just be careful not to delete the wrong files!

Honestly, just go to the menu and delete them from the 'Load Game' option. It's quicker and safer.

Go to the game's main menu, select 'Load Game,' and then delete the saves you don't need. Simple as that!

If you're playing on console, navigate to the system settings, find the game save data management, and delete the save files from there. Easy peasy.

I had too many saves clogging up my game once. Just went to the save data folder and deleted them all from there. Worked like a charm!
