Sadly, Hogwarts Legacy hasn't released a version for the Nintendo Switch as of my last check. So, if you're trying to save your game on Switch, you might need to double-check the platform. As for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, saving usually happens automatically during key points in the game, but you can also manually save through the game's menu.
To save on Hogwarts Legacy, just hit pause and look for the save option in the menu. But remember, it's not on Switch, so don't go looking for it there.
