Easy peasy! To record your gameplay on the Steam Deck, just press the 'Steam' button + 'R1' at the same time. This shortcut starts and stops the recording. You'll find your clips in the Videos folder under Home. Now go capture those epic moments!

Hold up, before you start capturing those game-winning plays, remember the Steam Deck's recording feature might not capture every game flawlessly due to DRM protections some games have. So, if your recording comes out a bit wonky, that might be why.

Just hit 'Steam + R1' and you're golden for recording. But honestly, for longer sessions or higher quality, consider using an external capture device or software. The built-in feature is cool for quick clips, though!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
