Lol, sleeping in Animal Crossing isn't like in some games where you press a button and your character hits the hay. Your character doesn't need to sleep to restore energy or anything. However, if you're talking about the beginning of New Horizons, you just need to lay in the bed in your tent and follow the prompt to rest. After that, sleeping isn't really a 'thing.' Your character is always ready to go!

Hot take: why would you wanna sleep in Animal Crossing when there's so much to do? No time for sleep when there are fish to catch and bells to make!

Actually laid down in my virtual bed in ACNH expecting something to happen. Can confirm, your character just lies there. No sleep mechanic in the game, but it's a fun moment to snap a pic of your character catching some Z's!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
