Start by launching your game on the Steam Deck, then open Discord on another device. Go to 'Screen Share' in Discord, select the Steam Deck as the source, and voilà—you're streaming!

You can't stream directly from the Steam Deck to Discord. Use a capture card like Elgato to capture the Deck's output, then stream that through Discord on your PC.

I’ve done this! Connect the Steam Deck via HDMI to a capture card connected to your PC. Use OBS to capture the game and share the OBS window in Discord. Works like a charm!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
