How to Switch Characters in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Switching characters in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is pretty simple. During battle, you just need to press the D-pad left or right to cycle through your party members. It's like tag team wrestling but with epic swords!

During battle, just press the L or R buttons to cycle between your party members. Outside of battle, navigate to the Characters tab in the menu and select the character you want to control. Have fun exploring those epic landscapes!
Press the L or R buttons to switch characters during combat. In menus, go to the Characters tab to set your preferred lead character. Easy peasy!
You can switch characters by pressing the left or right buttons on the D-pad during combat. Just make sure you're not getting clobbered while trying to switch!
