Hey there! The first-person mode isn't available on the PS3 version of GTA 5. It's only in the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions. Guess it's time for an upgrade if you really want that view!

Sorry to break it to you, but you can't switch to first person in GTA 5 on the PS3. That feature's only on the newer consoles and PC.

Unfortunately, you can't switch to first person in GTA 5 on the PS3. It's a feature exclusive to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions. I was pretty bummed out too when I found out.
