Press left on the d-pad while in battle to swap from Pyra to Mythra. I had to Google this myself the first time!
When you get Mythra in Chapter 3, you can switch to her by pressing the left button on the D-pad while in combat.
Story progression unlocks Mythra. Once you have her in Chapter 3, use the D-pad left during battles. Easy peasy.
You can't switch to Mythra until she is unlocked in the main story at Chapter 3. After that, it's just pressing the D-pad during fights.
