Easy peasy! Turn on Bluetooth on your Steam Deck, then press the PlayStation and Create buttons on your PS5 controller until the light bar starts flashing. Find the controller in your Steam Deck's Bluetooth settings and pair them up. Done!

Just use a USB-C cable and plug it into the Steam Deck. No fuss, no muss!

Firsthand experience here: Put your Steam Deck into Bluetooth pairing mode, then hold down the PS button and the Create button on the PS5 controller until the light bar flashes. When the controller shows up on the Steam Deck's Bluetooth list, select and pair it. Worked like a charm for me!

Why even bother? Just use the Steam Deck's built-in controls.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
