Start by unplugging everything and removing the hard drive cover. Then, unscrew the screws with the Torx T8 screwdriver. Carefully lift the top cover off, and you'll have access to the internals.

To open your PS4 original, first, power down and unplug the console. You'll need a Torx T8 screwdriver to remove the screws on the back. After that, gently pop off the outer case and proceed from there.

Just power it off, unplug it, and then take a Torx T8 screwdriver to the screws at the back. Lift off the top cover, and you're in!

From personal experience, after unplugging the PS4, the Torx T8 screwdriver is a must-have! Unscrew the back, lift the top cover, and voila, you can see the internals.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
