Honestly, try turning it off and unplugging it for a few minutes. Plug it back in and see if it starts up normally.

Try updating your system software via the internet. Go into Safe Mode, choose option 3 'Update System Software', and then select 'Update Using Internet.'

You can also try rebuilding the database. In Safe Mode, choose option 5 'Rebuild Database.' It won't delete your data but might clear up the issue.
