Check if your PS3 shows any signs of life when you press the power button. If it’s completely unresponsive (no lights, no sound), the power supply might be the issue.

If the PS3 turns on briefly and then shuts down, it could indicate a failing power supply. Also, listen for any unusual noises coming from the console, which can be another hint.

Try plugging your PS3 into a different power outlet or use another power cord. Sometimes it's just a bad connection or a faulty cord!

Hot take: If it doesn’t turn on at all, the power supply is probably toast. Time to get it checked or replaced.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
