You can't time travel in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, but you can revisit past areas and story events once you finish a saga! Just use the time machine in Capsule Corp.

Honestly, there's no way to 'time travel' per se, but the game lets you revisit past events through the time machine after you finish the main story.
