To get more candy, walk with your Pokémon as a buddy or hatch eggs. No actual candy transfer system exists.

When I need more candy, I usually just turn on Adventure Sync and go for a jog. You'll rack up those candies in no time!

You can't directly transfer Pokémon candy between species in Pokémon GO, but you can transfer Pokémon to the professor to get candy for that specific species!
