Go to 'Settings' > 'Sound and Screen' > 'Display Area Settings'. There you can adjust the brightness of your PS4. If that doesn’t work for you, adjust your TV settings instead.

The PS4 system itself doesn’t have a direct brightness control. You'll have to tweak the brightness settings on your TV or monitor instead.
