Go to Settings > Sound and Screen > Video Output Settings. Select 'HDR' and adjust the brightness from there.

If you're using an HDR TV, check your TV settings as well. Sometimes the brightness setting might not be on the PS5 itself!

Honestly, sometimes turning down the brightness on your TV is the quickest fix.

Head over to Settings > Accessibility > Display. Here you can find brightness options if the game supports it. Easy peasy!
