Easiest way: Hold the PS button on your controller, select Power, and then choose Turn Off PS5. Done and dusted!

You can press and hold the power button on the console itself until you hear a beep. Boom, it's off!

If you want it to shut down completely, hold the power button on the console for 7 seconds until you hear a second beep.

Just go to the Control Center menu by pressing the PS button, select Power, and pick Turn Off PS5. Simple!
