To turn on the mic on your PS4, just connect your headset to the DualShock 4 controller and your PS4 should automatically recognize it. Then, go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices and make sure 'Input Device' is set to your headset.

Plug your headset into the controller, go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices, and select your headset as the input device. Boom, you're live!
