I once blocked my dog’s account by mistake and to fix it, I went to Privacy settings, found Blocked Accounts, and unblocked with a few taps!
To unblock someone on Instagram, go to their profile and tap the three dots in the top right corner. Then, select 'Unblock' and confirm your decision. Easy peasy!
