Uninstalling rEFInd from your Steam Deck is like telling your dog you're going on a walk and then not. But if you must, you'll likely dive into the terminal. Boot into your Steam Deck's Desktop Mode, open up Konsole or any terminal app, and type 'sudo bootctl remove'. This should remove rEFInd from your system boot. Remember to backup any important files cause it's better to be safe than sorry!

Just boot into desktop mode, open terminal, and hit them with a 'sudo bootctl remove'. Bam, rEFInd is gone!

Honestly, why remove rEFInd? It's super handy for dual-booting. But if you're set on it, 'sudo bootctl remove' in the terminal should do the trick. Worked for me without a hitch.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
