To unlock cooking in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you'll need to upgrade your Resident Services building. Once you've done that, you can purchase a DIY recipe for a kitchen from Nook's Cranny. Then, hunt down some delicious recipes and start whipping up dishes!
Just get the DIY Recipes+ by redeeming Nook Miles at the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. This upgrade includes the cooking recipes. Happy cooking!
