No need to overthink it! Close Spotify and restart it. The app usually updates itself.
Super easy! Just open Spotify, click on the menu in the top left corner (the three dots), go to Help, and select About Spotify. If there's an update available, you'll see a button to download it. Boom, you're updated!
From personal experience, I found the easiest way is to go to the official Spotify website and download the most recent version. It overwrites the old one and keeps all your settings intact!
