Honestly, you're better off waiting for Discord to be officially integrated. It's not worth the hassle.

I鈥檝e been doing this for months: use the PS4's browser to access Discord's web version. It's not perfect, but it works for text chat!

Unfortunately, Discord isn't natively available on the PS4, but you can use your smartphone! Just join a voice channel on your Discord app and use earphones connected to your phone while you play.
