Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Just stroll into any train station in Fallout 76 and look for a machine that looks like a big green vending machine, that's the Legendary Exchange machine. Dump your unwanted legendary items into the machine, and in return, you get Scrip. You can use Scrip at the Purveyor's place to buy new, random legendary items. It's like a surprise gift to yourself, only you kinda pay for it with your old stuff.

Honestly, the legendary exchange is a blessing. I dropped a three-star piece of armor that did nothing but make me slower, and in return, I got enough Scrip to pull a weapon that actually made a difference in my gameplay. Don't sleep on using the exchange; it's a game changer.
