To use the parachute in GTA 5 on PS3, first make sure you actually have one. When you're falling, press X to deploy it and use the left stick to steer. Simple as that!

Equip your parachute in the weapon wheel before jumping. Once you're in the air, press X to deploy. Use the left stick to control your descent. Happy flying!

I鈥檝e jumped from helicopters in-game a ton! Equip it from your weapon wheel, jump, and press X ASAP. Use the left stick to glide smoothly.
