To use your Steam Deck as a controller for your PC, first, make sure both your PC and Steam Deck are on the same network. Then, on your Steam Deck, go to Settings > Remote Play, and pair it with your PC by following the on-screen instructions. Your Steam Deck should now work as a controller for games on your PC!

I've actually done this! Make sure both devices are connected to the same Wifi, and enable Remote Play in Steam settings on both devices. It's a bit of a workaround, but it does the trick if you're in a pinch and really want that Steam Deck feel on your PC games.

Just to throw this out there, but why would you want to use the Steam Deck as a controller when there are so many better controllers out there? The Steam Deck is amazing for its portability and versatility, but as a controller? Meh.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
