You can use a USB on PS3 to transfer game saves, but you can't play games directly from it. Format the USB as FAT32, copy the game saves onto it, then plug it into your PS3 and go to Game > Saved Data Utility to access them.

Just plug it in and navigate to the Game section on the Cross Media Bar (XMB). From there, go to 'Install Package Files.'

PS3 requires the USB drive to be formatted in FAT32. Once that's done, plug it in, and access it from the Game section in the XMB menu.

Using a USB drive on your PS3 for games is pretty straightforward. Just plug the USB drive into one of the USB ports on the front of your console. Then, head to the Game section in the main menu, select 'Install Package Files,' and you should see your USB drive listed there!

Playing games directly from USB on PS3 isn't possible. You can use it for media files or game saves.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
