You need a Study Desk for your pre-teen or teen Sim. Tap the desk and select 'Write in Diary.' Easy peasy!

You can’t. The Sims FreePlay doesn’t have a diary feature.

I’ve got my pre-teen Sim writing in her diary all the time! Just tap the Study Desk and choose 'Write in Diary.' It helps with their creativity hobby.

To write in a diary on Sims FreePlay, simply tap on a pre-teen or a teen Sim, then select the Study Desk. There you’ll find the option to 'Write in Diary' under the 'Hobbies' tab. Happy scribbling!
