Dragon Ball Super has its moments, especially with the introduction of new universes and godly beings, but for me, nothing tops the nostalgia and raw energy of Dragon Ball Z.

Dragon Ball Z is iconic with its intense battles and unforgettable villains like Frieza and Cell. Dragon Ball Super keeps the spirit alive with more epic transformations and new gods. It's like comparing apples to oranges鈥攂oth are delicious in their own way!

Hot take: Dragon Ball Z is leagues better. The storyline, character development, and tension in fights are unmatched. Super feels like fan service.

As someone who's watched both multiple times, I'd say Dragon Ball Z has a grittier and more intense feel, while Super is more polished with higher stakes. Depends on what you're in the mood for!

If you're a Dragon Ball fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
