Yep, Broly is canon now, but only the version from Dragon Ball Super: Broly. The DBZ movie version? Not so much!

Nope, Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan isn't considered canon. It's a movie, and most of the DBZ movies aren't part of the official story.

I grew up loving the Broly movies, but the original 'Legendary Super Saiyan' isn't canon. However, Dragon Ball Super gave us a canon Broly in 2018!

The 1993 movie version of Broly isn't canon, but the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie from 2018 made him an official part of the series.

TBH, the Broly from '93? Nah, not canon. The Super version? Totally canon!

If you're a Dragon Ball fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
