It mainly depends on what you're aiming for! Evolving gets you new Dex entries and access to stronger moves, while powering up boosts current stats. Go with evolving first if you want variety!

Always evolve first. If the evolved form has better moves, it's a win-win. You don't want to waste resources on a weak moveset!

Evolve first, then power up! You get better value from your Stardust and Candy this way. Plus, it's always exciting to see those final forms!
