Not really necessary. Hogwarts Legacy stands on its own as a solid game. The story is set way before Harry's time, so you won't miss out on the main plot if you haven't seen the movies or read the books. But, the Easter eggs and nods to the series are a sweet bonus for fans!

Just play the game! Hogwarts Legacy is epic by itself. You don鈥檛 need to cram 8 movies first. Dive in and enjoy the magic without homework.

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
