Darling in the Franxx was definitely NOT a failure! It had a strong fan base, and people are still talking about it years after its release. Plus, its unique blend of mecha action and emotional storytelling really struck a chord with many viewers.

Some fans were disappointed with the direction the story took in the second half, but calling it a failure would be an overstatement. It still had quite the impact and memorable moments.

Darling in the Franxx had its flaws, but failure? Nah, it brought a lot of new fans into the mecha genre and created tons of discussions. Definitely not a failure in my book.

If you ask me, Darling in the Franxx was a wild ride, and not everyone could handle it! But hey, that's what makes it interesting.
