In Hogwarts Legacy, the button to cast Protego, the shielding spell, depends on what you're playing on. If you're on PlayStation, it's the L1 button. On Xbox, you'll be using the LB button. For PC gamers, it's a bit more customizable, but by default, you should find it comfortably assigned to the 'Q' key. So, get ready to shield yourself at the right moment!

Protego? Oh, that's easy! On Xbox, just hit LB. It’s like your magical reflex to block all those unfriendly spells.

Just smack the L1 button on your PS controller. It’s like telling the world, ‘Not today, spells, not today.’

For PC, it defaults to 'Q', but honestly, customize it to whatever feels like a panic button for you. Because when you're about to get hit by a curse, any button feels like the right button.

If you're a Hogwarts Legacy player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
