Pretty much anything that's not armor or a standard clothing item can be considered a costume in Fallout 76. Think of it as anything that lets you dress up your character for fun.

In Fallout 76, a costume can be pretty much anything that changes the appearance of your character. This ranges from outfits like the iconic Vault Suits to more whimsical options such as the Fasnacht Man Mask and costume. Armor pieces don't count unless they're part of a specific outfit set. So, if it makes your character look different and isn't just regular armor, it's a costume!

Costumes? If it looks cool or silly and doesn't add to your armor rating, it's a costume. Period.

Only outfits that don't provide physical armor bonuses count as costumes. Armor is armor, costumes are for show!

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
