Battery storage mode on the Steam Deck is a cool feature that preps your device for long-term storage. It discharges the battery to an optimal level, ensuring it doesn't degrade while sitting unused for ages. No one likes a dead Deck!

It's basically a hibernation mode for your Steam Deck. This mode helps keep your battery healthy by storing it at a safe charge level when you won't be using the device for an extended period.

I used battery storage mode when I went on vacation for a month. Came back, booted up my Deck, and it was still in great shape! It's super useful for keeping the battery in good condition.

Just Valve being smart about battery life. Use it if you're not gonna touch your Deck for a while.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
