Inert Flux is what you get when you forget to read the expiration date on your Flux! Just kidding – but not really. In Fallout 76, Flux is a raw material you get from plants in a nuke zone. If you don't stabilize it with Hardened Mass, Glowing Mass, and High-Radiation Fluids quickly, it turns into Inert Flux. While Inert Flux can't be used to craft those high-tier mods and gear, it's still useful 'cause you can drink it to quench your thirst. Plus, it weighs less than other water sources, making it a decent hydration solution without the rads.

Inert Flux is basically junk. Once your collected Flux goes bad, it's only good for hydrating or selling to vendors for a few caps.

Honestly, Inert Flux is the best way to stay hydrated in the wasteland. It's clean, carries no radiation, and easy to stack up on after a nuke drops. Never overlook it!

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
