What is the Best Heavy Gun in Fallout 76?
Gotta disagree. The Gauss Minigun wins, period. Once you get your hands on this, with its insane damage output plus the electric damage, there's no going back. Sure, it eats through ammo like nobody's business, but who cares when you're shredding through enemies like paper?

Why not both? Gauss Minigun for bosses, Final Word for everything else. Why limit yourself to just one when you can wreak havoc with both!
Hands down, the Final Word 50 cal machine gun is the way to go. It's a beast for taking down big baddies with its high rate of fire and bonus damage against any foe. Slap on some heavy gunner perks, and you're basically a walking apocalypse.
I get the hype around those, but don't sleep on a good old LMG with the right mods. Fast, furious, and fun. Not every fight needs a nuke.
