Too bad the slim and super slim PS3 models won't play your old PS2 discs. Consider snagging a 'fat' PS3 if you want that compatibility!

If you have one of the original 'fat' PS3 models (20GB, 60GB, or some 80GB), you're in luck! They support hardware-based backward compatibility with a large majority of PS2 games. Grab your old PS2 discs and enjoy classics like 'Final Fantasy X,' 'Shadow of the Colossus,' and 'Gran Turismo 4'!

Most of the later PS3 models don't support backward compatibility for PS2 games. You might need to look into the PlayStation Store for digital versions or use PlayStation Now for streaming select PS2 titles.

Speaking from experience, the original 60GB PS3 I have still runs my old 'Kingdom Hearts' and 'Metal Gear Solid 3' discs like a charm. Definitely worth it if you鈥檙e a PS2 fan!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
