First, try resetting the controller using the tiny reset button on the back with a paperclip. If that doesn't work, use a different USB cable or port. Sometimes, dust or dirt in the charging port can also be the culprit, so give it a good clean!

Just buy a new one. Life鈥檚 too short to mess with dead tech.

Had the same issue! What worked for me was connecting the controller to a PC or laptop for a while, then charging it with the PS3 again. Not sure why, but it did the trick.

In my experience, leave it plugged in overnight. Sometimes the battery's just drained and needs a long charge. If it still doesn't work, it might be a sign the battery needs replacing.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
