Plug your controller directly into the PS4 with a USB cable and see if it charges. Sometimes, a dead battery is the culprit.

Try pushing the little reset button on the back of the controller (you'll need a paperclip or something similar). It’s a tiny hole near the L2 button.

If none of these work, you could always try using another USB cable or port. Sometimes it's the cable, not the controller!
