Definitely back up your data and reset it to factory settings. Don't forget to deactivate your PSN account too! Then make it look nice and clean.

First things first, back up your data. Can't risk losing those high scores! Then, restore the system to its factory settings to wipe your data clean. Finally, give it a good cleanup鈥攏obody wants to buy a dusty console!

From experience, make sure you back up your game saves and also check for any discs that might still be in the console. Nothing worse than selling it only to realize a week later your favorite game was still inside!

Deactivate your PSN account from the PS3, back up any important data, and restore to factory settings. Give it a good wipe down and shine too!

Honestly, just reset it and clean it up. Done.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
