Summers are for sunbathing and winters for snowball fights, all at the same time as the real world! So whenever you feel the weather changing outside, know it's also happening in your cozy Animal Crossing village.

Actually, the seasons change based on your game's settings. If you've set your game to the Northern Hemisphere, it'll follow those seasons. If you chose the Southern Hemisphere, you'll get those seasons instead. It鈥檚 a neat feature that keeps your island in sync with your actual season, or not, depending on your preferences!

Seasons in Animal Crossing change just like they do in real life! Whether you're in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, the game mirrors the current season. This means if it's winter where you are, it's also winter in your game. Keep an eye on the calendar as Animal Crossing follows the real-world passage of time, bringing different events and changes to your village with each season!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
