Snow in Animal Crossing starts to fall around late November and lasts until late February. The exact timing can vary a bit each year in the game, but if you're after that magical winter wonderland vibe, that's the window to aim for. The first snowfall that sticks and covers the ground usually happens in early December, marking the official start of the snowy season!

Actually, the first snowflakes can appear in late November, but it doesn鈥檛 start sticking until December. Then, you're looking at a winter wonderland all the way till February! So, time to get those snowman-building skills ready.

I think it's more like mid-December? At least that鈥檚 when I noticed it last year. Everything gets all festive and serene. Can鈥檛 wait!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
