Sony hasn't announced a cutoff yet, but PS4 games are still being released and are expected at least through 2025. Enjoy them while they last!

It's hard to pin down an exact date, but PS4 games will likely continue to be made for a few more years. Historically, PlayStation supports their older consoles for a while post the next-gen launch.

Hot take: Games will keep coming as long as there's money to be made. Sony won't pull the plug prematurely.

PS4 games will stop being made when developers see more value in focusing solely on PS5. We're not there yet, though!

Based on previous PlayStation generations, you can expect PS4 games for a couple more years, but the focus will shift more and more to PS5.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
