For a quick cryptid encounter, hit up the Mire region. You’ve got a good shot at stumbling upon the Wendigo or the Flatwoods Monster there. Remember, patience is key. These creatures don't just pop up on command.

Cryptids in Fallout 76 are like hide and seek champions, but if you're really looking to find one, start with the Grafton Monster. You can often find it patrolling the Toxic Valley area, especially near Charleston. Mothman's another elusive buddy, mainly spotted around Point Pleasant. Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled at night; some cryptids love the dark. Oh, and listen out for the creepy sounds, that's usually a good hint you're close!

Flatwoods Monster, no doubt. Rare, but head to the Forest area, and with some luck, you'll have a close encounter of the third kind. Keep your camera ready for this alien visitation.

Honestly, just wander around the Ash Heap at night. It's creepy enough on its own, but you might just bump into the Mothman. If not, at least you'll get some cool screenshots!

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
