Magikarp can often be found near bodies of water like rivers, lakes, and beaches. So grab your fishing rod (or phone) and head to the nearest waterfront!

Stick to places near water sources. It's not guaranteed, but my luckiest spot was hanging out by a pond in my neighborhood.

Look for Magikarp in parks with water features or near landmarks that have water themes. I caught one at my local duck pond!

You can always try your luck with incense or lures to increase your chances of Magikarp appearing, but they definitely love hanging out near water!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
