Where is the Hard Drive on a PS3 Slim?
If you're looking for the PS3 Slim's hard drive, it's on the left side (when the console is horizontally oriented). Open the plastic tab, and you should see it right away.

The hard drive on a PS3 Slim is located on the side of the console. Just look for the panel cover near the front, pop it off, and there it is!
I've swapped out the hard drive on my PS3 Slim a couple of times. The hard drive is behind a removable panel on the left side of the console. Slide it off, unscrew the blue screw, and you're good to go!
It's on the left side, under a small panel. Easy peasy!
